Versatility is a word closely associated to Paul Duffy. As a musician he is capable of doing many things competently.
Born in Liverpool, Paul began his musical interest at the age of seven playing cornet with the St Helens Youth Brass Band.
Since 2006 Paul has been the soprano cornet soloist with the world renowned Black Dyke Band, allowing him to showcase his talents as a performer, arranger and composer.
In July 2012, Paul was guest soloist with the National Children's Brass Band of Great Britain. Performing his own arrangements, he proved to be a huge success with both band and audience.
His performing and composing styles are deemed to be fresh and innovative, an indication of the broad-spectrum of influences he has. Paul has an Honours and Masters Degree in music production and is currently writing music for interactive media.
